Marbleface

Annika is like a lot of young women arriving from Brazil to live and study in Ireland except perhaps that she is a witch seething with rage and pain after being banished by her coven and family for cruel crimes of “immorality”.

While struggling to conform and settle to life here, Annika encounters two people who will shape her future: Maicon, a headstrong and wild classmate that Annika begins to fall for, and a being that Annika calls Marbleface which is a spirit of a long-dead vengeful Irish witch.

MARBLEFACE is a dark descent into the psyche of a tormented young woman who has been cast out of house and home. Mixing occult and supernatural horror with a spectrum of different media, MARBLEFACE promises to be an original and engrossing deep dive into the realms of exile, love, and bitter vengeance.

Date: Saturday 23rd of October

Time:  7pm

Venue: Garter Lane Theatre

Fee: €13 (€11 conc.)
