Garter Lane Arts Centre asked Andrew Macklin and Dierdre Dwyer to record a conversation on the importance of Networking for them in their initial fledgling careers and beyond. The result is this rich, topical and fresh “chat” about something that we can all take a little for granted sometimes, the vitality that arises from connecting with others, and the opportunities that arise as a result of being “networked”. Enjoy!
Deirdre Dwyer and Andrew Macklin are both Waterford born creatives. Dierdre recently moved back here while Andrew is based in London.
Both have serious track records in the theatre world and arts sector, and both are continuing to make a livelihood, (which in current circumstances can prove both demanding and difficult). In recent on-line conversations with arts professionals in the UK and in Ireland Andrew posed a series of questions in his series Creative Career Talk, and one of those questions sparked interest here in Ireland.
