The event begins with reading the story, Eva and the Perfect Rain. The children are encouraged to engage with what they see in the illustrations and there will be feedback and participation from the group.
When the story is finished, together, the group will draw an umbrella for Eva, with Tatyana drawing the umbrella and the children helping with suggestions and ideas for the design on the umbrella.
The children will all be supplied with paper, either blank paper if they are confident about drawing, or paper with an outline of an umbrella for them to decorate using crayons, pencils or markers.
