With Jenny Flynn, Pamela Kelly and Paula Hannigan in the kitchen, this menu will celebrate the very best of Irish food as well as the amazing women at the heart of Ireland’s restaurant industry.
Jenny Flynn is Head Chef at Faithlegg and has a passion for local artisan food. She has been described as being at the top of her game and was named Best Chef in Munster in 2017. Faithlegg has achieved two AA Rosettes over the past six years with Jenny at the helm.
Pamela Kelly, previously Head Chef at Cork’s award winning restaurant Market Lane, is currently running the kitchen at the iconic Farmgate Café in the heart of Cork’s English Market, Ireland’s oldest and most historic food market. For Pamela food provenance plays a key role in her cooking, with many of her ingredients coming straight from the English Market and the rest coming from trusted local suppliers.
Paula Hannigan is pastry chef and chocolatier at the Cliff House Hotel, Ardmore, Co. Waterford. She loves to experiment with flavour, colour and design. Recently Paula won the 2019 Valrhona Pâtisserie Championship with her dessert, entitled “Flavours from an Irish Terroir”, which showcased the flavours of barley in three forms.
This will be one of the most exclusive dining events in Harvest Festival history with only thirty tickets available. On the evening you will be welcomed with a sparkling reception in stunning Faithlegg and this 5 course tasting menu will be complemented by wines carefully selected from Tindal Wine Merchants.
